My Mission Part 2
Dear Friends and Family,
I am excited to share that I will once again be traveling to Puerto Rico this summer for another mission trip! Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to help build a home for a family in need and it was a life-changing experience. This year, I feel called to return and continue serving the amazing people of Puerto Rico.
Last year’s mission trip was a transformative step in my faith journey, and it has deeply impacted my life. This year, I feel just as strongly called to return and continue serving the community of Puerto Rico. Our church’s goal is to provide safe and stable housing for families who currently live without the security of a permanent home. This mission goes beyond meeting physical needs—it’s about sharing God’s love and bringing hope to those we serve. I’m humbled and grateful to play a small role in God’s greater plan through this journey.
To prepare for this mission, I need your support in a few key ways. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers. Please pray for me to have the courage, wisdom, and faith to fulfill God’s purpose during this trip. Pray also for my fellow team members as we work together, and for the families we will serve, so that they may feel God’s presence and love in their lives.
Another way you can support me is by helping with the cost of the trip. I need to raise $2,300 to cover travel expenses, lodging, food, project supplies, and resources to assist the local community. If you feel led to contribute financially, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Checks can be made out to Chase Oaks Church with “Puerto Rico Mission Trip” in the memo line, or you can donate through an online payment system that is at the end of this letter!
This trip is only a few months away, and I am already preparing my heart and mind for what’s ahead. Your prayers and generosity mean the world to me, and I’m deeply grateful for your willingness to walk alongside me in this mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of families in Puerto Rico while glorifying God through service.
